It replaces original part numbers 1-756-702-11, 1-756-702-12, 8315A32402, 8917A44167 and LIS1374HNPA. The cell is lithium-polymer rated at 3.7V and 650mAh. It is supplied new and black in colour.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

Lithium-polymer cells generate minimal heat during normal playback and standby. The pack has no moving parts, so operation is silent. Power draw follows the player’s own consumption profile; the battery simply delivers its rated 2.41Wh capacity until recharge is needed. No active cooling or fan noise is involved.

Capacity Decides Fit

The single figure that determines compatibility is the 650mAh capacity at 3.7V. If your Walkman requires a different milliampere-hour rating or voltage, this cell will not match the original runtime or charging logic. Buyers who need a higher capacity for extended use cannot use this part.

Questions about this item

How do I install this battery in my Sony Walkman and what step often gets missed?

Power off the device, open the rear cover, disconnect the old pack, connect the new 3.7 V 650 mAh Li-Polymer cell matching the 51.72 x 34.63 x 3.52 mm footprint, then reassemble; the step often missed is reseating the connector fully so the Walkman recognises the replacement.

What maintenance or replacement will this battery need later?

The 3.7 V 650 mAh Li-Polymer pack will gradually lose capacity; plan to replace it once run-time drops below your needs — no user-serviceable parts inside.

What limit appears first during sustained playback?

The 2.41 Wh capacity sets the runtime ceiling; continuous play drains the 650 mAh cell until the Walkman shuts down for recharge.
