2-in-1 Speaker Lantern for Portable Use

The Verbatim 98594 combines a wireless speaker with a dimmable LED lantern in one compact unit. It connects via Bluetooth to smartphones and tablets for audio playback. A built-in microphone allows hands-free calling at the touch of a button. The water-resistant IPX4 rating makes it suitable for outdoor environments like camping or patio gatherings.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

The rechargeable lithium-ion battery delivers up to 8 hours of continuous playtime on a single charge. An integrated on/off switch conserves battery life when the device is not in active use. Power is supplied solely by the internal battery, eliminating the need for external cables during operation. Silent solid-state components ensure no audible fan or mechanical noise during use.

Deciding Specification: IPX4 Water Resistance

The IPX4 rating confirms protection against splashing water from any direction, which is the critical factor for outdoor reliability. Buyers who need submersion protection or a higher ingress rating should look elsewhere. The 95 mm height and 189.99 mm depth define the compact form factor that fits in a backpack. Compatibility is limited to Bluetooth-enabled smartphones and tablets.
