Battery for Standard Horizon HX400IS

This lithium-ion battery replaces the FNB-115LIIS and SBR-29LIIS packs used in the Standard Horizon HX400IS two-way radio. It delivers 7.4 V and 2.55 Ah capacity for extended talk time on marine channels. The pack is supplied new and black in colour.

Check your radio model and part number

Verify that your handheld is the HX400IS and that the original battery carries the part number FNB-115LIIS or SBR-29LIIS. This pack will not fit other Standard Horizon models or radios from different brands. Confirm the voltage requirement matches 7.4 V before ordering.

Build quality and daily handling

The casing measures 131.92 x 57.20 x 32.70 mm and slides into the radio battery rail with a positive click. Lithium-ion chemistry holds charge well during storage between trips. The black finish resists salt-spray discolouration and the moulded ribs give a secure grip when changing packs with wet hands.

Questions about this item

What is included with the DS-CS-SHX400TW battery and does the radio come with it?

The box contains one Cameron Sino DS-CS-SHX400TW lithium-ion battery rated at 7.4 V and 2.55 Ah. The Standard Horizon HX400IS radio itself is not included and must be purchased separately.

How do I choose between the FNB-115LIIS and SBR-29LIIS part numbers for my HX400IS?

Both FNB-115LIIS and SBR-29LIIS are original part numbers for the Standard Horizon HX400IS. This single DS-CS-SHX400TW battery replaces either one, so no choice between versions is needed.

What does the 2.55 Ah capacity mean for actual talk time on the HX400IS?

The 2.55 Ah (2550 mAh) rating at 7.4 V gives 18.87 Wh of energy. Actual operating time on the HX400IS depends on transmit power, duty cycle and enabled features, so a fixed hour figure cannot be given.
