Cameron & Co DS-CS-WS221SL replacement battery

The Cameron & Co DS-CS-WS221SL is a 7.4 V 1.8 Ah lithium-ion cell built as a direct replacement for the William Sound Sorin B0221 and WS-BATPACK packs. It restores runtime to compatible amplifier headsets without modification. The black pack measures 70.00 x 50.00 x 10.50 mm and weighs 100 % OEM compatible.

Voltage and capacity match the original spec

The single figure that decides fit is the 7.4 V 1800 mAh rating, which delivers 13.31 Wh exactly as the factory pack does. A different voltage or amp-hour value would prevent the amplifier from powering on or charging correctly.

Drops into the existing battery compartment

The pack slides into the Sorin amplifier’s original cavity and connects to the stock wiring harness, so no soldering or adapter cables are required. It frees the user from a tethered power supply and returns the headset to full wireless operation.

Questions about this item

What does the 7.4 V 1.8 Ah rating mean for runtime in my William Sound Sorin amplifier?

The 7.4 V 1.8 Ah lithium-ion cell delivers 13.31 Wh, matching the original B0221 pack so the amplifier runs for the same duration per charge.

What connector standard does this pack use and what voltage does it supply to the device?

It uses the proprietary WS-BATPACK interface and supplies a nominal 7.4 V to the Sorin amplifier, capped by the pack’s internal protection circuit.

Will the 70.00 x 50.00 x 10.50 mm case fit the battery compartment of my CS-WS221SL unit?

Yes, those exact dimensions match the original battery cavity, so the pack slides in and latches without modification.
