Replacement Battery for MODECOM MX3 GPS

This CameronSino DS-CS-MDX300SL battery replaces the original 1ICP4/44/54 pack in the MODECOM MX3 navigator. It delivers 3.7 V and 1300 mAh capacity in a lithium-polymer cell that measures 55.20 x 43.80 x 4.60 mm and weighs 60 g. The two-pin connector matches the factory layout for a direct fit.

Thermal Behaviour in Daily Use

The slim 4.60 mm lithium-polymer cell runs cool during typical navigation because the GPS draws only modest current from the 4.81 Wh pack. No active cooling is required and the battery adds negligible heat to the device chassis. Normal operation stays well within the thermal limits of the original design.

Sustained Load Performance

On long trips the 1300 mAh capacity supports extended runtime without the voltage sag seen in aged cells. The fresh lithium-polymer chemistry maintains steady output over repeated charge cycles, so the navigator remains reliable for multi-hour routes. Users who need longer endurance between charges would require a higher-capacity pack.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the 2PIN60 connector into my MODECOM MX3, and which orientation mistake should I avoid?

Align the two pins with the socket's keyed slots; forcing it reversed bends the pins and breaks the connection.

What replacement will this 1300mAh Li-Polymer cell need after repeated charge cycles?

The internal chemistry degrades over time; expect to swap the whole pack once run-time drops below useful levels.

At what point does the 4.81Wh capacity limit appear during continuous GPS navigation?

Sustained screen-on use drains the 1300mAh cell in a few hours, so plan recharges before the battery empties.
