Replacement Battery for Mobile Hotspots

The CameronSino DS-CS-SWA883RC is a new lithium-ion cell rated at 1500mAh and 3.7V. It serves as a direct replacement for the original battery in compatible Netgear and Sierra Wireless hotspot models such as the AirCard 753S, 754S, 763s, 778S, 801S, 802S, Overdrive 3G, 4G and 4G+.

Simple Swap Installation

The pack fits into the device’s battery bay without tools; align the contacts and press until it clicks. The most common issue is inserting the cell upside down or failing to seat the connector fully, which prevents the hotspot from powering on.

Verify Model and Part Number

Before ordering, confirm your hotspot appears in the supported list — AirCard 753S, 754S, 763s, 778S, 801S, 802S, Overdrive 3G, 4G, 4G+ or W-1 — and that the original battery carries part number 1201883 or BATW801. This battery is not for devices that use a different form factor or voltage.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the DS-CS-SWA883RC battery is working correctly after installing it in my Sierra Wireless Overdrive 4G+?

After installation the hotspot should power on and hold a charge; the battery is rated at 1500mAh and 3.7V with a 5.55Wh capacity, so normal run-time for your device model indicates it is functioning as intended.

What is included with the DS-CS-SWA883RC and what must I purchase separately?

The package contains one new Li-ion battery measuring 61.30 x 41.30 x 6.60mm in black; no charger, cable or tools are supplied, so reuse your existing hotspot charger or buy a compatible one separately.

Which battery version should I choose for a Netgear AirCard 778S versus a Sierra Wireless AirCard 754S LTE?

The DS-CS-SWA883RC replaces part numbers 1201883, BATW801 and W-1, making it the correct single version for both the AirCard 778S and AirCard 754S LTE as well as all other listed hotspot models.
