Canon 12x36 IS III binocular with case strap batteries and cleaning kit

Compact 12x36 binocular for extended outdoor use

The Canon 12x36 IS III is a lightweight binocular designed for birding, nature observation and sporting events where long viewing sessions are common. Its built-in image-stabilisation system compensates for hand shake so the view remains steady without a tripod. The bundle adds a soft case, rainguard, neck strap, two AA batteries and a cleaning kit for immediate use.

Stabilised viewing during prolonged observation

Vari-angle prisms shift in response to gyro-sensor data to counteract both vertical and horizontal movement. A microcomputer runs proprietary algorithms that shorten start-up time and reduce power draw, allowing the AA cells to last through extended outings. The correction works continuously while panning or holding on a distant subject.

Optical limits of the 12x36 format

Magnification is fixed at 12x with a 36 mm objective, so exit pupil and low-light brightness are constrained by that aperture. The doublet field-flattener lenses and Super Spectra multi-coating improve edge sharpness and contrast, but the physical dimensions set the practical boundary for detail resolution and light gathering. Users needing wider fields or larger exit pupils would require a different instrument.
