Wide-angle zoom eyepiece delivers 30-70x magnification and a 105-to-60-foot field of view at 1,000 yards for 99mm spotting scopes
The TE-11WZ II is a wide-angle zoom eyepiece built for 99 mm Prominar spotting scopes and also fits 88 mm and 77 mm models. It provides a 30-70x magnification range on the 99 mm series and 25-60x on the smaller scopes. Birdwatchers, stargazers and long-range observers gain a single eyepiece that covers multiple instruments.
Because the 99 mm scope has a longer focal length, the eyepiece carries two magnification scales so the reading stays accurate on every compatible model. The wide-angle design delivers a field of view from 105 to 60 feet at 1,000 yards across the zoom range, meeting or exceeding other wide-angle zooms.
The magnification range shifts with the objective size: 30-70x on 99 mm scopes and 25-60x on 88 mm or 77 mm scopes. Buyers who need a fixed focal length or a different zoom span should look elsewhere.

The optical surfaces benefit from occasional cleaning with a lens cloth and blower; the unit has no user-serviceable seals or internal parts that require scheduled replacement.
At the 70x setting the field of view is 60 feet at 1,000 yards.
The eyepiece is a passive optical component with no electronics, so it generates no heat and consumes no power regardless of how long it is used.
