4K PTZ Camera with 20x Zoom

The Canon CR-N100 is a compact PTZ camera built for live production in houses of worship, education, broadcast and corporate environments. It captures 4K UHD at 30 fps or Full HD at 60 fps through HDMI and IP outputs. The 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor pairs with Canon’s DIGIC DV6 processor for accurate colour reproduction. Smooth pan, tilt and zoom motion suits remote operation.

20x Optical Zoom Lens

The integrated lens delivers 20x optical zoom with optical image stabilisation, letting operators frame distant subjects without digital cropping. Hybrid auto focus keeps the image sharp across the zoom range. This single specification determines whether the camera covers the required field of view in a given installation. Buyers needing a longer reach or a wider angle than this lens provides should look elsewhere.

Sustained 4K 30P and HD 60P Output

The camera maintains 4K UHD at 30 fps and Full HD at 60 fps continuously over both HDMI and IP streams. The high-precision drive mechanism preserves smooth PTZ movement during extended sessions without stutter. Thermal design supports uninterrupted operation for long events, lectures or services. Installations requiring higher frame rates at 4K resolution are not served by this model.

Questions about this item

What does the 20x optical zoom actually let me frame in a typical room?

The 20x optical zoom lens lets you move from a wide view of the room to a tight shot of a presenter without digital cropping, keeping 4K detail at every focal length.

How does the NDI output handle 4K 30P and Full HD 60P over the network?

NDI carries 4K UHD at 30 fps or Full HD at 60 fps over a standard Gigabit Ethernet link, so resolution and frame rate are limited by the codec and available bandwidth.

What mounting options does the compact satin-black body support?

The camera includes a standard 1/4‑20 tripod thread and can be ceiling‑mounted with an optional bracket, fitting discreetly on a desk, shelf or overhead rig.
