Ultra-wide zoom for full-frame EOS DSLRs

The Canon EF 11-24mm f/4L USM Lens is an L-series zoom built for full-frame EOS DSLR cameras. It covers an ultra-wide to wide-angle focal range of 11-24mm with a constant f/4 maximum aperture. The bundle adds a lens cap keeper and a cleaning kit for daily protection and maintenance.

Optical performance across the zoom range

One Super UD element and one UD element significantly reduce chromatic aberrations while four aspherical elements minimise distortions throughout the zoom range. SWC and ASC coatings suppress flare and ghosting for improved contrast and colour accuracy. A ring-type Ultrasonic Motor delivers fast, near-silent autofocus with full-time manual override and internal focusing.

Replaces variable-aperture wide zooms

This lens upgrades from slower variable-aperture wide-angle zooms when constant f/4 brightness and L-series optical correction are required. The jump is worth it for landscape and architectural photographers who need consistent edge-to-edge sharpness and illumination at ultra-wide perspectives. It is not for shooters needing longer focal lengths or wider maximum apertures.

Questions about this item

Does the ring-type Ultrasonic Motor stay quiet and cool during long shooting days?

The ring-type Ultrasonic Motor provides fast, smooth, near-silent autofocus with an internal focusing design that avoids extending barrels, so operation stays quiet and heat build-up is minimal during extended use.

Do I need a Canon full-frame EOS DSLR body to use this lens?

The lens uses the Canon EF mount and is designed for full-frame EOS DSLRs, so a compatible Canon DSLR body is required for it to function.

Will the bundled LP1424 case fit this 11-24mm lens or is it sized for the 70-300mm f/4-5.6L?

The included LP1424 case is specified for the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM, so it may not provide a snug fit for the 11-24mm f/4L USM.
