Canon EF-M 22mm f/2 STM Lens with 3-Piece Filter Kit (5985B002)

Moderate Wide-Angle for EOS M

The Canon EF-M 22mm f/2 STM lens is a moderate wide-angle prime designed exclusively for EOS M mirrorless cameras. It includes a 3-piece filter set, hand strap, cap keeper and lens cleaning kit. The bright f/2 aperture works with the camera's large sensor for strong low-light performance. A built-in stepping motor provides smooth and continuous autofocus during stills and video capture.

EF-M Mount and Focusing Limits

The lens uses the Canon EF-M mount, so it fits only EOS M series bodies and cannot be mounted on EF or EF-S DSLRs without an adapter not included here. Minimum focusing distance is 5.9 inches (15 cm), allowing close-up work but not true macro magnification. The seven-blade circular aperture creates rounded background highlights at wider apertures. Filter threads measure 43mm, matching the included filter set diameter.

Check Camera Compatibility Before Ordering

Verify that your camera body uses the EF-M mount; this lens will not fit Canon DSLR or RF-mount mirrorless models directly. Ensure you need a fixed 22mm focal length rather than a zoom range for your shooting style. Confirm the 43mm filter thread size matches any additional filters you already own. The bundle adds a hand strap and cleaning kit, so check whether those duplicates affect your existing accessories.
