Starter bundle with adapter and bag

The kit is aimed at photographers moving to Canon’s full-frame mirrorless system who want essential accessories in one purchase. It suits creators who need both stills and UHD 4K30 video capability from day one.

Upgrading from APS-C or older DSLR bodies

The jump is worth it when you need the 30.3MP full-frame CMOS sensor, the DIGIC 8 processor and the native ISO 40000 range for low-light work. Continuous shooting reaches 8 fps and the Dual Pixel CMOS AF system provides 5655 selectable points sensitive down to EV -6. Video gains include Canon Log gamma, Movie Digital IS and 4K 10-bit 4:2:2 output over HDMI for greater colour control.

Check lens mount and accessory compatibility

Verify that your existing EF or EF-S lenses will work via the included EF-EOS R mount adapter before ordering. Confirm that your workflow can handle 6720 x 4480 resolution files and UHD 4K30 footage. Ensure you have a compatible charger for the LP-E6 battery and sufficient storage beyond the supplied 32GB card for extended shoots.
