Canon EOS R50 Mirrorless Camera Black with RF-S 18-45mm & 55-210mm Lenses

Compact mirrorless bundle

The Canon EOS R50 is an ultra-compact mirrorless camera built around a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor and DIGIC X processing. Two RF-S zoom lenses cover 18-45mm and 55-210mm focal lengths with built-in optical stabilisation. The bundle also adds a case, 32GB card, tripod, filters and conversion lenses for immediate shooting.

Who this suits

Creators who want a lightweight APS-C system for stills, 4K 30p video and Full HD 120p slow motion in one bag will appreciate the versatile zoom range and 651-zone Dual Pixel CMOS AF II that tracks people, animals and vehicles. The vari-angle touchscreen and 2.36m-dot EVF help compose from awkward angles while live streaming or vlogging.

Who should look elsewhere

Photographers who need wider maximum apertures for low-light events or shallow depth of field will find the variable f/4.5-6.3 and f/5-7.1 limits restrictive. Buyers who require longer telephoto reach beyond 210mm, dual card slots or higher-resolution video formats should consider other bodies and lenses.

Deciding specification

The 24.2MP APS-C sensor paired with DIGIC X processing delivers 6K oversampled UHD 4K 30p and an ISO range of 100-32000 expandable to 51200, which determines whether image quality and low-light performance meet your creative requirements.
