Canon EOS RP compact mirrorless camera body black with replacement battery and charger

Lightest full-frame EOS body

The Canon EOS RP is the lightest and smallest full-frame camera in the EOS lineup. It pairs a 26.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor with a DIGIC 8 image processor for high image quality. The native RF mount uses a 54mm diameter and 20mm flange distance to support fast, compact RF lenses. An optional adapter adds full compatibility with existing EF and EF-S lenses.

Sustained shooting at 5 fps

Continuous capture runs at up to 5 fps, letting the camera maintain pace with moving subjects over a sequence of frames. Dual Pixel CMOS AF covers 4779 selectable on-sensor phase-detection points for reliable focus tracking during both stills and video. The ISO range extends from 100 to 40000, providing flexibility when light levels drop during longer sessions. UHD 4K recording is available alongside still-image capture.

RF mount and spare power kit

The short 20mm flange-back distance of the RF mount allows lenses to sit closer to the sensor, enabling smaller optical designs without sacrificing speed. This bundle adds a Vivitar CB-E17 replacement battery and LC-E17 charger compatible with the LP-E17 cell used by the RP. The extra cell supports extended shooting days without relying on a single charge. Photographers needing built-in flash or a deeper grip may prefer a larger body.
