Designed for RF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM Z

The Canon ET-88C lens hood is made specifically for the RF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM Z lens. It blocks stray light that causes flare and protects the front element from scratches and dust. The white finish matches the lens barrel. Photographers shooting in bright or backlit conditions will benefit from the improved contrast.

Attaches directly to the lens front

The hood mounts on the lens without tools and adds no extra filter-thread diameter. It leaves the zoom and focus rings fully accessible while shading the glass. When not needed, it can be reversed on the barrel for compact storage. No separate pouch or adapter is required for daily use.

Suits owners of the RF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM Z

This hood only fits that lens model; it will not mount on other RF zooms or EF lenses. Photographers using different focal lengths or third-party glass should look for the dedicated hood matched to their specific lens. Buyers who need a circular filter thread on the hood itself will not find one here.

How much heat or noise does the ET-88C generate during all-day use?

The ET-88C is a passive accessory with no moving parts or electronics, so it produces no heat and no noise regardless of how long it stays mounted.

Which lens must I already own for the ET-88C to fit and function?

The hood is made exclusively for the Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM Z lens and will not mount on any other model.
