Dedicated lens hood for RF 24-105mm F4 and RF 28-70mm F2 lenses, reducing flare and shielding the front element
The Canon EW-83N lens hood fits the RF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM and the RF 28-70mm F2 L USM. It blocks stray light to protect contrast and shields the front element from knocks. Photographers using either of these L-series zooms gain flare control without vignetting.
This hood only mounts on the two RF zooms listed above; other Canon RF or EF lenses use different hood designs. Verify the exact model name printed on your lens barrel to avoid a mismatch. Buyers with a different focal-length range or maximum aperture need the hood specified for that lens.

The EW-83N hood is a separate accessory; it does not come in the box with the RF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM or the RF 28-70mm F2 L USM.
The EW-83N is the dedicated hood designed for both the RF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM and the RF 28-70mm F2 L USM.
