Canon GPR-27 Yellow Drum Unit

The Canon GPR-27 yellow drum unit is a genuine OEM imaging component designed for compatible Canon imageRUNNER printers. It supports the LBP5970 and LBP5975 models for reliable colour output. This supply suits offices maintaining those specific machines. The unit arrives brand new in a single pack.

Sustained yield of 40000 pages

The drum is rated for a maximum yield of 40000 pages under standard printing conditions. This figure reflects continuous operation rather than a short burst of activity. Consistent print quality is maintained across the rated lifespan. The genuine Canon build helps ensure stable performance throughout.

Check model compatibility before ordering

Verify that your printer is a Canon imageRUNNER LBP5970 or LBP5975 before purchase. The GPR-27 yellow drum will not function in other Canon models or third-party devices. Confirm the part number 9624A008 matches your service manual. Buyers needing a different colour or capacity must select an alternative item.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the GPR-27 Yellow Drum Unit generate during continuous printing?

The drum unit is a passive imaging component with no moving parts or fan, so it produces no audible noise and negligible heat beyond what the LBP5970 or LBP5975 printer generates itself.

Which printer models must I already own for the GPR-27 Yellow Drum Unit to work?

It is designed exclusively for the Canon imageRUNNER LBP5970 and Canon imageRUNNER LBP5975; the drum will not fit or function in any other device.

Will the GPR-27 Yellow Drum Unit operate correctly if I keep using older Canon toner cartridges in the same printer?

Yes, as a genuine Canon OEM drum it is engineered to work with standard Canon yellow toner cartridges intended for the LBP5970 and LBP5975, delivering up to 40000 pages per drum.
