Canon PIXMA TS202 2319C002 inkjet printer

Compact photo printer for home use

The Canon PIXMA TS202 is a simplex inkjet printer built for colour photo output up to 4800 x 1200 dpi. It connects via Hi-Speed USB and accepts PG-245 or PG-243 pigment black cartridges together with CL-246 or CL-244 dye colour cartridges. The rear tray holds 60 sheets of plain paper or 20 sheets of 4.00" x 6.00" photo paper. It suits users who want borderless 4.00" x 6.00" prints without duplex or network features.

Sustained output at ESAT speeds

Under continuous printing the TS202 delivers approximately 7.7 ipm in black and 4.0 ipm in colour, matching the ESAT ratings. A borderless 4.00" x 6.00" photo completes in roughly 70 seconds. The Fine hybrid ink system uses 1,280 nozzles, with 320 for pigment black and 960 for colour, to maintain consistent density across longer runs. XL cartridges provide 12.0 ml black and 13.0 ml colour capacity for fewer interruptions.

Simple USB setup with rear tray loading

Installation requires only a Hi-Speed USB connection to a computer; no wireless or Ethernet options are present. Paper loads from the rear tray, which can cause jams if sheets are curled or overfilled beyond the 60-sheet plain-paper limit. The printer supports only simplex printing, so double-sided documents must be turned manually. Ink levels are monitored through the driver software, and standard cartridges hold 8.9 ml black or 9.0 ml colour.
