Compact plate storage

This steel rack holds standard plates with a 1-inch centre hole on five posts. The triangular footprint keeps the unit narrow while storing up to 300 pounds of weight. It is suited to home gyms that need organised plate storage without a large floor commitment. The black powder coat finish resists wear in daily use.

Thermals noise and power

The rack has no moving parts, fans or electrical components so it produces no noise and draws no power. Steel construction and the powder coat finish handle normal indoor temperatures without degradation. No thermal management or ventilation is required for this passive storage unit.

Replaces floor stacking

It replaces loose plates on the floor or leaning against walls, removing trip hazards and protecting flooring from damage. The upgrade is worth it when plates exceed a few kilograms and floor space is limited. Buyers who need storage for Olympic plates with a 2-inch hole or capacities above 300 pounds should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I assemble the five posts and what step is commonly missed?

Bolt the five posts into the triangular frame using the supplied hardware, then tighten every bolt again after the rack is fully upright so the posts stay aligned under load.

What part of this rack will need attention over time?

The black powder coat finish can chip where plates slide on and off the posts; touch up any bare steel to stop rust forming.

What limit appears first when the rack is loaded daily with heavy plates?

The 300 pound total capacity is the hard ceiling; exceeding it will bend the posts or distort the triangular frame.
