What it is

Exoprimal is a new PlayStation 4 video game from Capcom. It delivers a team-based online multiplayer mode called Dino Survival where two squads of five race to complete objectives while fighting massive dinosaur swarms. The experience blends competitive and co-operative play in every match.

Core multiplayer structure

The decisive specification is the 5v5 Dino Survival mode that drives every session. Players choose from Assault, Tank or Support Exosuits and can swap between them mid-match to adapt to changing objectives.

Sustained session behaviour

Matches progress through a dynamic sequence of missions that shift from horde defence to direct squad confrontations. The design requires continuous coordination and role switching rather than short bursts of action. Long-term progression relies on unlocking rigs and cosmetics for the available Exosuits.

Questions about this item

How does the 5v5 Dino Survival mode play out in a real match?

Two squads of five race through a rotating set of objectives — culling raptor swarms, defending a downed aircraft, or facing a triceratops — while the match can shift to direct squad combat or force both teams to unite against a Neo T. Rex.

What online standard does the game use on PlayStation 4, and what does it require?

It runs on standard PS4 online multiplayer, so an active PlayStation Plus subscription and a stable broadband connection are needed for matchmaking and co-op play.

What physical items come in the PS4 case and how do they install?

The retail box contains a single Blu-ray disc; insert it into the PS4 drive, follow the on-screen install prompts, then apply any day-one patch before launching Dino Survival.
