Steam users seeking classic sci-fi action

Players with a Steam account on Windows XP or later can activate and install the title immediately via download. The game requires a Pentium 4 with HT or Athlon 64 3500+ processor and at least 512 MB of RAM on XP. Buyers without a Steam account or those needing a physical disc should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will running Lost Planet Extreme Condition for long sessions make my PC loud or hot?

The game runs on Windows XP and needs only a Pentium 4 with HT or Athlon 64 3500+, 512 MB RAM on XP or 1 GB on Vista, so it places very little load on modern hardware and will not noticeably increase noise or heat.

What account do I need before I can activate the 88752 Steam code?

A Steam account is required for activation and installation of this downloadable PC title.

Can I play the 16-player online modes on an older Windows XP machine?

Yes, the minimum specification lists Windows XP with a Pentium 4 HT or Athlon 64 3500+ and 512 MB RAM, so the multiplayer supports up to 16 players on that platform.
