Capcom Monster Hunter: World PS4 Video Game RNAB071G5HZ7F

SKU CH-7S6B-S7QDV MPN RNAB071G5HZ7F

An action RPG where hunters track and battle monsters in a seamless, living ecosystem with online co-op for up to four players

  • Hunt across a seamless new world without loading screens
  • Use the living ecosystem and wildlife to gain tactical advantages
  • Join up to three hunters worldwide via SOS flare
  • Craft weapons and armor styled after each defeated monster
  • PEGI-rated action RPG with region-free play

New World Expedition

Players take the role of a Hunter joining a research expedition to a newly discovered continent called the New World. The game is an action role-playing title built around tracking, battling and harvesting fearsome monsters in living ecosystems. It is sold as a standard edition for PlayStation 4 and carries a PEGI rating comparable to ESRB T. The disc is region free with no restrictions.

Seamless Ecosystem and Progression

Maps connect without loading screens and shift dynamically between day and night while wildlife interacts with itself and the hunter. Defeated monsters yield loot that is crafted into weapons and armour styled after each creature. Progression comes from improving hunting abilities and gear rather than a traditional level curve, and the environment itself can be turned to the player's advantage during fights.

Online Co-op Limits

Up to three additional hunters can join a quest through an SOS flare sent to a worldwide server, making four the maximum party size. The experience is designed around drop-in multiplayer rather than persistent worlds or competitive modes. Players who want larger raid groups, player-versus-player arenas or offline split-screen play will not find those options here.
