A compact 3/8 in pneumatic impact wrench delivering 320 ft-lb reverse torque and 300 ft-lb forward torque at 90 PSI with low vibration and 87.9 dBA noise
The Capri Tools CP35100 is a 3/8 inch drive pneumatic impact wrench built for mechanics working in tight engine bays and suspension assemblies. Its 4.8 inch composite body weighs 2.86 lbs and produces only 4.8 m/s2 vibration, reducing fatigue during extended use. One-hand operation comes from a forward/reverse toggle and thumb-dial power selector.
The single figure that decides fitment is 320 ft-lb of maximum reverse torque, with 300 ft-lb available in the forward direction. Six power settings — three forward and three reverse — let the operator match output to the fastener without over-torquing. This torque ceiling covers most passenger-vehicle lug nuts and suspension bolts.
The tool consumes 4.2 CFM at 90 PSI and runs at 87.9 dBA, so a modest shop compressor can keep it fed without excessive noise. It will not sustain continuous high-torque runs on a small portable compressor, and the 1/4 inch NPT inlet limits hose options to standard shop fittings. Buyers needing higher sustained torque or 1/2 inch drive capacity should look elsewhere.

The 320 ft-lb maximum reverse torque is the peak force the wrench can apply to break stubborn fasteners loose; real-world results depend on your compressor delivering 90 PSI and 4.2 CFM consistently.
The 1/4 in. NPT inlet accepts standard industrial couplers, and the tool needs a compressor that can sustain 4.2 CFM at 90 PSI; smaller compressors will cause pressure drop and reduced torque.
At 4.8 in. long and 2.86 lbs, the stubby design reaches into cramped engine bays and suspension areas where full-size impacts cannot, while the composite housing keeps weight low for overhead work.
