Compact 10x25 binoculars for everyday use

The Carson Optical JD-025 is a pocket-sized porro prism binocular with 10x magnification and a 25mm objective lens. Fully coated BK-7 glass delivers sharp, high-contrast images in a lightweight body weighing only 9.9 oz. A supplied pouch, neck strap and lens cloth complete the ready-to-carry package.

Spectators and walkers wanting minimal bulk

Ideal for sporting events, concerts and general outdoor viewing where a small, light optic is preferred. The 9.5mm eye relief may limit the full field of view for wearers of thick-rimmed glasses. Buyers needing larger aperture for low light or wider fields for fast-moving action should consider larger models.

10x magnification with 342 ft field at 1000 yd

Ten-power magnification brings distant subjects close while the 342-foot linear field at 1000 yards keeps enough context for tracking movement. This balance of reach and scene width is the single specification that decides whether the JD-025 matches the intended viewing distance and activity.

Questions about this item

How wide is the view at 1000 yards with the 10x magnification?

The 10x25mm optics deliver a 342-foot field of view at 1000 yards, giving a generous window for tracking action at sporting events or concerts.

What does the BK-7 prism type mean for image quality in this compact model?

BK-7 prisms with fully coated lenses provide sharp, high-contrast images while keeping the binoculars lightweight at 9.9 ounces for pocket carry.

Will the 9.5mm eye relief work if I wear glasses?

At 9.5mm eye relief, the ScoutPlus works best without glasses; the independent right diopter lets you fine-tune focus for each eye instead.
