Privacy Screen for Outdoor Equipment

Two white vinyl panels each measure 42 inches wide by 43 inches high and form an L-shaped enclosure around air-conditioning units, trash bins or pool equipment. Horizontal slats block the view while still allowing air to circulate. Panels connect at right angles with colour-matched stainless steel self-tapping screws.

Stability Under Weather Load

Vertical posts are 3 by 3 inches, larger than many alternatives, and each panel is anchored by a 19.7-inch galvanised steel stake driven 11.8 inches into the ground. Professional-grade PVC resists warping and keeps its shape through seasonal temperature swings and wind pressure on the slatted surface.

Straightforward Assembly With Common Pitfalls

Panels arrive pre-assembled and join together with the supplied screws and four U-channel caps that finish the slat edges. Installers must drive stakes to the full 11.8-inch depth in firm soil; shallow placement or loose backfill lets the enclosure lean. Alignment of the right-angle corner is easier with a helper holding the second panel square while screws are started.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the vinyl absorb when the panel sits in full sun all day?

The white vinyl finish reflects most sunlight, so the panel stays cool to the touch even after hours of direct exposure.

What tools or parts must I already have to assemble the fence?

A drill or screwdriver for the colour-matched stainless steel self-tapping screws and a hammer or mallet to drive the 19.7-inch galvanized steel stakes.

Will the 42-inch panels line up with my existing 4-foot vinyl fence posts?

Each panel measures 42 inches wide, matching standard 4-foot post spacing, and the U-channel caps fit the horizontal slats for a clean joint.
