Purpose and fit

The Case Logic DLBP-116 backpack is designed for professionals and students who carry a 16 inch laptop daily. An integrated compartment secures the device while front organisation panels keep phones, keys and magazines accessible. Air-mesh shoulder straps and a lumbar pad add comfort during commutes. Water-resistant polyester protects contents from light rain.

Capacity and limits

The laptop sleeve measures 15.2 by 10.8 by 1.8 inches, fitting most 16 inch notebooks snugly. Total pack volume is 16.7 by 14 by 9.5 inches, leaving room for documents and small accessories. Heavier loads push the 1.54 lb frame toward its practical limit, and the single main compartment cannot separate bulky items from the laptop.

Build integration

A top carry handle and padded straps let the bag shift between hand-carry and backpack modes without extra hardware. PVC-free polyester construction meets environmental preferences while large-gauge zippers resist snagging on daily openings. The slim 9.5 inch depth slides under airline seats, yet the fixed 16.7 inch height prevents compression into tighter overhead bins.

Questions about this item

Will my 16-inch laptop fit securely in the integrated compartment?

The integrated laptop compartment is designed to hold notebooks with screens up to 16 inches, and the internal capacity measures 15.2" x 10.8" x 1.8" for a snug fit.

How can I check the backpack is comfortable for daily commuting once I put it on?

Air mesh on the shoulder straps and lumbar pad provides comfort and breathability; adjust the straps so the pack sits close to your back and the weight feels evenly distributed.

What comes with the backpack and do I need to buy a rain cover separately?
