Compatible iPad Pro models

The Werleo A2736 keyboard case fits iPad Pro 12.9 inch tablets from the 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2022 releases. Supported model numbers include A2736, A2764, A2437, A2766, A2379, A2461, A2462, A2233, A2229, A2069, A2232, A1876, A2014, A1895 and A1983. It is not suitable for smaller iPad sizes or earlier generations.

Trackpad and iOS requirement

The built‑in 2.4 inch touchpad works when the iPad runs iOS 13.2.2 or later and Assistive Touch is enabled. Without that software version the trackpad will not function. The keyboard connects wirelessly, so no physical port is used for input.

Magnetic detachment and leather cover

The keyboard attaches magnetically and can be removed at any time for standalone tablet use. A leather sleeve protects the iPad while a precision cut‑out keeps buttons, speakers and cameras accessible. An integrated pencil holder secures an Apple stylus, and an adjustable stand offers multiple viewing angles. Buyers who need a permanently fixed keyboard or a hard‑shell case should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Which iPad Pro 12.9 models does the A2736 keyboard case fit?

It fits the 2022 6th generation (A2736, A2764, A2437, A2766), 2021 5th generation (A2379, A2461, A2462), 2020 4th generation (A2233, A2229, A2069, A2232) and 2018 3rd generation (A1876, A2014, A1895, A1983).

What does the built-in 2.4 inch trackpad actually let me do on the iPad?

It gives laptop-style cursor control so you can navigate, select text and use multi-touch gestures without a separate mouse, provided the iPad runs iOS 13.2.2 or later and AssistiveTouch is enabled.

How does the Bluetooth keyboard connect and what limits its use?

The keyboard pairs wirelessly over Bluetooth, draws power from its built-in Li-ion battery, and requires an initial 2-3 hour charge; it works only while the iPad’s Bluetooth is on and the keyboard has charge.
