What this case protects

The CASEMATIX RMR23-PS5 is a hard-shell travel case built for the PlayStation 5 console. It holds the system, two controllers, power and display cables, games and small accessories. Custom foam cutouts fit both the Disc and Digital editions, and spacer foam is included for the Digital Edition. The crushproof, injection-moulded shell defends against heavy impacts.

Limits of the waterproof seal

An airtight gasket and pressure-release valve keep water, moisture and dust out during transport. The seal works while the case is closed and latched; it is not rated for submersion or continuous pressure. External dimensions are 23 by 15.5 by 8.5 inches, so the case fits in most vehicle boots but may not meet airline carry-on limits. Padlock rings accept user-supplied locks for added security.

Installing the console and common issues

Place the console into the shaped foam recess, add controllers and cables into their cutouts, then close the lid and snap the latches. The spacer foam must be inserted under the Digital Edition so it sits level with the Disc Edition profile. The most common issue is forgetting the spacer, which leaves the Digital Edition loose. Another is over-packing accessories, which can prevent the lid from sealing fully.
