CASIO MS80B 8-digit desktop tax calculator educational supply

Desktop tax calculator for students

The Casio MS80B is an eight-digit desktop calculator designed for tax and currency exchange tasks. It suits students learning basic finance and office workers who need quick markup or percent calculations. The independent memory and three-key memory store intermediate results for multi-step problems. Its dual power source keeps it running in any lighting condition.

Plastic and metal housing with rubber feet

The calculator body combines plastic and metal finished with rubber feet that prevent sliding on a desk. A large 5.8 by 4.1 inch footprint and 1.1 inch depth give a stable typing angle without taking excessive space. The extra-large display shows eight digits with three-digit comma markers for readability. Solar cells on the front supplement the mercury-free battery backup for continuous operation.

Eight-digit display with tax and currency functions

The defining specification is the eight-digit display that also handles 16-digit approximations during calculations. This limits the maximum visible result to eight digits, so users who regularly work with larger figures will need a different model. The built-in tax calculation and currency conversion keys cover the most common desktop finance tasks.
