CASIO S1 Portable Label Printer

The CASIO S1 is a compact direct-thermal label maker that prints black-and-white stickers at 203 DPI without ink or toner. It connects to iOS and Android devices via Bluetooth and is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery charged over USB-C. Weighing 145 grams and measuring 3.15 x 3.15 x 1.77 inches, it fits in a pocket or bag for on-the-go labelling.

Upgrade from Handwritten Labels

This printer replaces handwritten tags, office label guns or bulky desktop thermal units when you need crisp, adhesive labels anywhere. The jump is worth it if you print frequently from a phone, want access to template libraries in the companion app, or need to produce barcodes, to-do lists or study notes without a PC. It does not serve users who require colour output or wide-format media.

Build-Around Needs

The S1 works with 57 mm wide thermal or self-adhesive rolls supplied in the box (two of each) and accepts additional 57 mm rolls. A USB-C power source is required for recharging, though no wall adapter is included. The Luck Jingle app provides templates, OCR scanning and document printing over Bluetooth, freeing you from driver installation or wired connections.

How do I pair the printer with my phone and what step is often missed?
