Casio XJ-M250 DLP Projector 3000 Lumens

The Casio XJ-M250 is a new DLP business projector delivering 3000 to 3500 lumens brightness and a native WXGA resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels. It uses a dual laser and LED light source for efficient operation and includes an HDMI input for high-definition sources up to 1080p.

Suits offices and classrooms needing 3D-ready

This unit suits users who need a lightweight 8.6 lb projector with RS-232 control and a built-in 5-watt speaker for presentations or 3D content with shutter glasses. Buyers requiring native 1080p resolution or higher brightness for very large venues should consider other models.

Native WXGA 1280x800 resolution decides fit

The native 1280 by 800 pixel panel determines image sharpness and aspect ratio for your content. While the projector accepts 1080p signals, it downscales to the native grid, so verify that WXGA detail meets your presentation or video requirements before purchase.

Questions about this item

How much heat and noise does the 3000-lumen laser-LED light source produce during all-day use?

The hybrid laser and LED light source is designed for efficient power use and runs cooler than traditional lamps, so fan noise stays low enough for quiet meeting rooms even after hours of continuous operation.

Which cables or adapters do I need to connect a laptop to the HDMI and RS-232 ports?

A standard HDMI cable carries 1080p video and audio, while a straight-through RS-232 serial cable handles control signals; no proprietary adapters are required for either port.

Will the native 1280x800 WXGA resolution and 4:3 maximum of 1600x1200 work with my older VGA-only sources?

The projector accepts VGA signals through its computer input and scales them to the 1280x800 panel or up to 1600x1200, so legacy laptops and document cameras display correctly without extra converters.
