Double Hammock for Two People

The Castaway double hammock measures 124 inches by 81 inches and holds two people for day hikes, travel or camping. It is made from breathable, quick-drying nylon with triple stitching on each panel. Heavy-duty carabiners connect to the included tree straps for a secure setup. The whole system folds into an attached storage pouch.

Tree Straps and Storage Pouch

Two heavy-duty tree straps are bundled so no extra hardware is needed to hang the hammock between trees. The attached pouch stores the hammock and straps together and doubles as a convenient pocket for keys, a drink or a phone while you relax. A compression bag further reduces packed volume for backpacking. Everything needed for setup travels in one compact bundle.

Durable Nylon Build and Packed Portability

Breathable nylon fabric resists wear and dries quickly after rain or humidity. Triple stitching reinforces the panels and connection points for long-term strength. Carabiners and straps are rated for heavy-duty use. At two pounds eight ounces the complete kit fits easily inside a backpack for day trips or longer hikes.

Questions about this item

How often will the nylon fabric and triple-stitched seams need inspection or replacement?

The breathable nylon panels use triple stitching for durability; inspect seams and carabiners after each extended trip and replace only if fraying or metal fatigue appears.

What load limit is reached first when two adults use the hammock continuously?

The hammock is rated for two people; the practical limit is the combined occupant weight approaching the fabric and carabiner capacity.

Does the packed weight of 2 lbs 8 oz add noticeable heat or strain when carried all day?

At 2 lbs 8 oz the hammock and straps add minimal pack weight and generate no heat; they compress into the attached pouch for low-profile carry.
