Kit Contents

The Celestron 94303 kit expands a telescope with five 1.25" Plössl eyepieces, a Barlow lens, six coloured planetary filters and a Moon filter. All eyepieces use a four-element design with a 52° apparent field of view and full multi-coating for contrast. A metal carry case with die-cut foam holds everything securely.

Who This Suits

Visual observers who want a complete set of focal lengths and filtration in one purchase will find the kit convenient. Buyers who already own several quality eyepieces or who need ultra-wide apparent fields beyond 52° should look at individual purchases instead.

Deciding Specification

The 1.25" barrel diameter determines whether the accessories fit your telescope's focuser or diagonal. If your instrument accepts only 2" barrels or uses a proprietary diameter, this kit will not mount without separate adapters.

Questions about this item

Does the 1.25" barrel fit standard telescope focusers?

Yes, every eyepiece, the Barlow lens and each filter in the kit use the standard 1.25" barrel size that fits most telescope focusers and diagonals.

How do I install the 2x Barlow lens with a Plössl eyepiece?

Insert the Barlow into the focuser first, then place the chosen 1.25" Plössl eyepiece into the Barlow; the common mistake is reversing that order.

When should I replace the Moon filter or coloured planetary filters?

Replace a filter only if its glass becomes scratched, the coating degrades or the metal cell is damaged; the optical coatings do not wear out from normal use.
