11-inch EdgeHD Aplanatic Cassegrain

The Celestron CPC Deluxe 1100 HD is an 11-inch f/10 telescope built around an EdgeHD Aplanatic Cassegrain optical system. It delivers sharp, coma-free views across a wide field and is designed for both visual observation and astrophotography. The fork-mounted GoTo system includes an internal GPS and a database of 40000+ celestial objects.

Serious observers and imagers wanting maximum

This telescope suits astronomers who prioritise light-gathering power and high-resolution imaging from a portable fork mount. Buyers who need a lightweight grab-and-go instrument or a compact refractor for wide-field travel should look elsewhere.

Check mount capacity and power before ordering

Ensure your observing site can accommodate the heavy-duty stainless steel tripod and dual-fork arm assembly. Verify you have a stable 12 V DC power source for the GoTo electronics and that your accessories match the 23 mm eyepiece barrel size.

Questions about this item

What eyepiece is included so I can start observing right away?

The telescope ships with a 23mm eyepiece that yields 122x magnification on the 11" f/10 optical tube.

Can the dual-fork arm alt-azimuth mount carry the 11" tube without the vibration I see on smaller tripods?

The heavy-duty stainless steel tripod and dual-fork arm are built for the 11" aperture, giving a steadier platform than lighter 8" or 9.25" setups.

How do I confirm the GoTo is pointing accurately after the first alignment?

Choose a bright named star from the 40,000+ object database, run a SkyAlign or Auto Two-Star routine, and verify the target centres in the 23mm eyepiece at 122x.
