Compact HiFi bookshelf pair

The CELUX SW208 is a stereo bookshelf speaker pair rated at 60 W total output. Each cabinet houses a 30 W carbon-fibre driver with a multi-layer voice coil, driven by a built-in 24-bit DAC that receives digital audio over USB for low-loss playback.

Desktop listeners who want wired USB

The system suits users who need a simple two-channel setup for a computer or monitor and appreciate side-mounted treble and bass controls. Buyers who require a separate subwoofer output, surround decoding or additional analogue inputs should look at other designs.

24-bit DAC over USB decides compatibility

The integrated converter handles the digital-to-analogue stage internally, so the source only needs a standard USB audio class port. If the host cannot supply USB audio or the user prefers an external DAC, this speaker pair will not bypass its own converter.

Questions about this item

What is the total power output before the 30W per channel amplifiers hit their limit during extended playback?

The pair delivers 60W total, with each channel rated at 30W from its carbon-fibre driver unit.

How much heat or fan noise does the built-in 24bit DAC and Bluetooth 5.0 module produce when the speakers run all day?

The active electronics are housed in the main cabinet with passive cooling; no fan is fitted, so operation stays silent and warmth remains low.

Which source devices can connect directly without any extra cables or adapters beyond what is in the box?

Any USB audio source for the 24bit DAC link, or any Bluetooth 5.0 device for wireless streaming, will work immediately.
