Product Identity

The Centenex Electronics BAGARMINNUVI750 is a 1.25 Ah lithium-ion replacement battery built for Garmin Nuvi 700-series navigators. It suits owners of models 700, 710, 710T, 750, 755, 755T, 760, 760T, 765, 770, 770T, 775 and 785 who need a fresh power source.

Practical Limits

The cell delivers 3.7 V and 4.62 Whr from a 1250 mAh pack measuring 59.98 x 36.54 x 5.38 mm. It fits only the listed Nuvi units and the matching part numbers such as 010-00583-00; it will not power other Garmin lines or non-Garmin GPS devices.

Installation Reality

Swapping the old pack means opening the Nuvi casing and disconnecting the original connector, so a small screwdriver and steady hands are required. The tight 5.38 mm thickness leaves little margin for misalignment, and forcing the ribbon cable can damage the socket. Buyers who want a higher-capacity cell or a unit with an external charging port will not find those options here.

Questions about this item

Which capacity should I choose for my Nuvi 750?

This model supplies 1250 mAh at 3.7 V, matching the original 010-00583-00 specification for the Nuvi 750 and the other listed 700-series units.

What does the 1.25 Ah rating mean for daily GPS use?

The 1.25 Ah cell delivers 4.62 Whr, giving roughly the same run-time as the factory battery when the screen and receiver are active.

Does the Li-polymer 3.7 V chemistry limit charging in the Nuvi cradle?

The 3.7 V Li-polymer pack is a direct replacement for the OEM 010-00657-00 cell, so the Nuvi’s built-in charger handles it without modification.
