Pack of Two Keychain Compasses

A pair of zinc-alloy compasses on key rings designed for walkers, campers and anyone who wants a simple backup navigation aid. Each unit weighs 15 grams and clips to a belt loop, backpack strap or key bundle for instant access. The vintage styling adds a decorative touch without sacrificing function. Supplied as a pack of two so you can keep one and share the other.

Manual Magnetic Navigation

The liquid-free needle aligns with Earth’s magnetic field to show cardinal directions whenever you need a bearing. No batteries, charging or satellite signal are required, so the tool works in remote valleys, dense forest or anywhere electronics fail. The zinc-alloy housing resists corrosion and impact during rough handling. A quick glance gives a reliable heading for orienting a map or choosing a trail.

Ultra-Light Everyday Carry

At 15 grams per compass the pair adds negligible mass to a keychain or gear loop and occupies minimal pocket space. The compact dimensions of 14.33in W x 12.83in H x 9.06in D refer to the bulk packaging, while each individual compass is small enough to sit alongside house keys. No power supply, firmware updates or mounting hardware are needed. The attachment ring fits standard split rings, carabiners or lanyard cords for flexible carry options.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the zinc alloy compass to my pack, and what step do people miss?

Thread the key-ring through a belt loop or backpack strap; the step people miss is checking that the ring snaps fully closed so the 15 g unit cannot slide off.

What part will wear out first and need replacement on this compass?

The liquid-filled capsule can develop a bubble over years of temperature swings; once the needle sticks, the whole 15 g compass is replaced.

At what point does sustained vibration or shock stop the needle from settling?

Continuous heavy vibration — such as mounting on a motorcycle handlebar — prevents the needle from damping, so direction readings become unreliable.
