Replacement battery for Casio DT-800

This Centenex Electronics DS-CS-DTX800BL battery replaces the Casio DT-823LI pack in DT-800 and DT-810 barcode scanners. It is a new lithium-ion cell rated at 3.7 V and 1450 mAh, supplying 5.37 Wh of energy. The black housing measures 64.10 x 40.20 x 11.50 mm and fits the original battery compartment.

Lithium-ion chemistry

The 3.7 V nominal voltage is fixed by the cell chemistry and cannot be altered for other scanner models. Capacity is set at 1.45 Ah, so runtime scales directly with the scanner's current draw. No built-in charge circuitry is described; the scanner manages charging and low-voltage cutoff. Physical dimensions and connector keying prevent use in devices with different battery bays.

1450 mAh capacity suits standard scanning shifts

At 1450 mAh the pack delivers enough charge for typical daily scanning workloads on compatible Casio terminals. Heavy continuous use with backlight and radio active will deplete the cell faster, requiring mid-shift recharging or a spare battery. The 5.37 Wh rating gives a clear energy benchmark for comparing runtimes across similar Li-ion packs. It is not suited for scanners that demand higher voltage or larger form-factor batteries.

Questions about this item

What does the 1450mAh rating tell me about how long the battery lasts in a Casio DT-800?

The 1450mAh capacity at 3.7V provides 5.37Wh of energy, which determines runtime based on the scanner's power draw during active scanning and standby periods.

Does this 3.7V Li-ion pack fit the DT-810 the same way it fits the DT-800?

Yes, the pack measures 64.10 x 40.20 x 11.50 mm and replaces the Casio DT-823LI part, so it fits both the DT-800 and DT-810 models.

What charging connector or interface does this battery use inside the scanner?

The battery connects via the scanner's internal contacts; no external charging interface is present on the pack itself.
