  • Product typeBluetooth Headset
  • Ni-MH chemistry delivers reliable recharge cycles for 3M headsets
  • 2 V 1500 mAh capacity powers C960 C860 C1025 units
  • 8 Wh energy rating supports extended talk time
  • 09 x 20.86 x 19.10 mm form factor fits original battery bay
  • 100 % OEM compatible replaces part numbers 175T17NO09 78-6911-4491-5

Drop-in replacement for 3M gear

This Centenex Electronics Ni-MH cell matches the 1.2 V 1500 mAh rating of the original 175T17NO09 pack. It fits the C1025 transceiver, C860 beltpack and C960 headset without modification. The white housing keeps the professional look of the factory unit.

Capacity and headroom

Rated at 1.8 Wh, the battery delivers the same talk-time and standby window as the OEM part for typical shift lengths. Heavy continuous transmit cycles will drain it faster, so users running back-to-back calls should keep a spare charged.

Upgrade path and fit

It replaces the 78-6911-4491-5 pack directly and restores full runtime to ageing headsets. The jump is worth it when the original cell no longer holds a charge through a full workday. Buyers needing higher capacity or a different chemistry will not find that option here.

Questions about this item

Will this 1.2 V 1500 mAh Ni-MH pack power my 3M C960 headset and C860 beltpack without modification?

Yes, it replaces the original 175T17NO09 and 78-6911-4491-5 cells used in the C960 headset, C860 beltpack and C1025 transceiver, so the voltage and connector match the existing hardware.

How can I confirm the battery is delivering its rated 1.8 Wh after the first charge?

Run the headset or beltpack until the low-power indicator appears; a full day of typical talk time matching the original runtime shows the 1500 mAh capacity is being met.

Does the single white cell ship with any charging cradle, cable or installation tool?

Only the 60.09 × 20.86 × 19.10 mm battery is included; the 3M charger base and any opening tools must be sourced separately.
