Direct Replacement Battery

The Centenex Electronics DS-CS-WA3006BL is a 3.7V 2000mAh lithium-ion cell built for Motorola and Zebra WorkAbout Pro handheld scanners. It matches the original 1050494 part number and fits devices including the 7525, 7527, G1, G2, G3 and G4 series. The black pack ships new and ready for immediate use in compatible terminals.

7.40 Wh Capacity Profile

At 7.40 Wh the pack delivers 2 Ah of runtime for typical scan-intensive shifts on supported WorkAbout Pro models. Capacity drops off when the terminal runs continuous radio or backlight workloads beyond the cell's rated discharge curve. It is not suited for devices that require a higher voltage or larger form factor.

Slide-In Form Factor

The 56.71 x 36.01 x 18.66 mm housing slides into the scanner's battery bay and locks with the existing latch mechanism. No tools or soldering are needed for replacement. The Li-ion chemistry has no memory effect, so partial top-ups during breaks do not reduce overall cycle life.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.7V 2000mAh Centenex battery fit my WorkAbout Pro G1 alongside the original WA3006 cell?

Yes — the DS-CS-WA3006BL matches the WA3006 form factor of 56.71 x 36.01 x 18.66 mm and is listed as 100 % OEM compatible with the WorkAbout Pro G1.

How can I confirm the new battery is delivering the rated 7.40 Wh after installation?

Charge fully, then run the device until shutdown; the runtime should match the original 2 Ah capacity if the pack is performing to spec.

Does the box include a charger or only the black Li-ion pack?

Only the single Centenex DS-CS-WA3006BL battery is supplied; a compatible charger must be sourced separately.
