Cestus 3124-M Tow Grip 280 Gloves

The Cestus 3124-M Tow Grip 280 gloves are personal protective equipment designed for workers who need both impact protection and cut resistance. They feature an absorbent cotton palm for grip control in oily conditions and an ANSI Cut A5 rated liner. The liner extends beyond the palm to the back of the thumb and index finger for added coverage.

Installation and Common Issues

These gloves are worn directly on the hands and require no tools or assembly for use. Selecting the correct size is essential to maintain the dexterity needed for trigger control and handling tasks. An improper fit may reduce tactile sensitivity or cause the impact zones to shift away from critical knuckle areas during work.

Ideal Users and Limitations

These gloves suit professionals in automotive, industrial or construction settings who handle oily parts and face impact or laceration hazards. They are not intended for workers who require high-voltage electrical insulation or chemical permeation resistance. Buyers needing liquid-proof barriers or extreme heat protection should look at alternative protective equipment.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Tow Grip 280 gloves provide ANSI Cut A5 protection after I put them on?

The ANSI Cut A5 rating is a laboratory certification on the liner that extends across the palm, thumb and index finger; no user test can verify the level, so rely on the manufacturer’s marking on the glove tag.

What comes in the package for the Cestus 3124-M and what must I purchase separately?

One pair of size M gloves with cotton palm and impact protection is included; no liners, cuffs or other accessories are supplied, so buy any required extras separately.

Which version of the 3124 series should I choose for oily-grip work with impact risk?

The 3124-M Tow Grip 280 combines an absorbent cotton palm for oily conditions with ANSI Cut A5 liner and impact guards, making it the model suited for that combination of hazards.
