Hand Stamp Kit for Heavy Duty Use

This CH Hanson 26685 hand stamp kit provides a complete letter and number set for industrial marking tasks. It includes uppercase characters A to Z, digits 0 to 8 with the 6 serving as 9, and an ampersand. The round-dot-face style creates clear impressions on hard surfaces. It is built for heavy duty applications requiring durable identification.

Upgrade from Single Character Stamps

This kit replaces the need to purchase individual stamps for each character. The jump is worth it when a project requires frequent marking of varied alphanumeric codes or serial numbers. Having the full set organised together speeds up workflow compared to hunting for loose pieces. It suits users who mark metal parts rated up to 30 HRC hardness.

Simple Hand-Held Operation

The stamps feature a 3/8 inch shank diameter for a secure grip during manual use. No separate holder is included or required for operation. Users should ensure the workpiece hardness does not exceed the 30 HRC limit to avoid damaging the character faces. Proper alignment by hand takes practice to keep lines straight and spacing even.

Questions about this item

What shank diameter fits the 3/8 in holder for this stamp kit?

The kit is designed for a 3/8 in shank diameter, matching the holder specification listed in the product details.

How do I align the round-dot-face characters for a straight impression?

Position each character on the flat surface, apply even downward pressure, and avoid rocking the stamp to keep the round-dot-face impressions aligned.

When will the uppercase letter and number characters need replacement under heavy-duty use?

Characters rated for 30 HRC surface hardness resist wear, but replace them once the round-dot-face impressions become illegible or the edges deform.
