Transition pencils for young learners

Charles Leonard secondary pencils have a slimmer barrel than primary pencils so children can comfortably move toward standard diameters. The wide round shape gives small hands a secure grip and the nonsmudging lead produces smooth, consistent lines for legible handwriting. Each box contains 144 black pencils.

Smooth writing with low pressure

Nonsmudging lead deposits clean marks without heavy pressure, keeping pages tidy during classroom work. The integrated eraser on every pencil removes mistakes quickly so students stay focused on their tasks. The barrel design supports steady control during extended writing sessions.

Ready-to-use classroom supply

A box of 144 pencils with erasers already fitted means no separate parts to assemble or lose. Teachers can hand them out immediately for lessons, tests or art projects. The quantity suits whole-class distribution and replenishment throughout the school year.

Questions about this item

How do I distribute the 144 pencils for classroom use?

Open the box and hand out individual pencils; each unit is pre-sharpened and ready to write.

When will the erasers on these pencils need replacement?

The attached erasers wear down with use; replace a pencil once its eraser is too small to cleanly remove marks.

How long does the non-smudging lead stay sharp during continuous writing?

The lead dulls gradually; expect to re-sharpen after several pages of sustained handwriting.
