Re-usable produce bags with twist ties

This set contains ten silicone bags measuring 12 by 16 inches in a red finish. Each bag includes a twist tie for secure closure and is designed to remove ethylene gas, extending the freshness of stored fruit and vegetables. The bags are washable and rated for re-use over a period of up to two months.

Households aiming to reduce food waste

Suited for shoppers who want a washable alternative to disposable produce bags and who can pre-cool items before storage. Not intended for users who need heat-safe containers, long-term freezer storage beyond the recommended cycle, or bags that seal without a separate tie.

Ethylene-absorbing silicone material

The silicone construction actively removes ethylene gas released by ripening produce, which is the mechanism that prolongs shelf life. This function lasts for a maximum of two months per bag, after which the absorption capability diminishes and the bag should be replaced.
