16-Pack 17 fl oz Spice Jars

This set provides sixteen clear PET jars, each holding 17 fluid ounces of dried spices, salts or seasoning blends. The BPA-free plastic is food safe and lets you see contents at a glance. Two-sided flip lids allow both shaking and pouring without removing the cap. The square profile keeps jars stable in drawers and prevents them from rolling on countertops.

Upgrade from smaller or round containers

Moving up from 4 oz or 8 oz jars means fewer refills and less clutter when you buy spices in bulk. The 17 fl oz capacity suits home cooks who restock quarterly rather than weekly. Square bases pack tightly in standard drawers, replacing round bottles that waste space and tip over. The flip-top lids replace separate shaker inserts, cutting the number of loose parts in half.

Handles bulk spices and craft supplies

Each jar comfortably stores large bags of peppercorns, herb blends or bath salts with headroom for scooping. The wide 2.6 inch opening accepts measuring spoons and funnel fills without spillage. Not suited for liquids, oils or very fine powders that can clog the flip vents. Buyers needing airtight vacuum seals or stackable modular systems should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much drawer depth do the 2.6" square jars need?

Each jar is 5.6" tall with a 2.6" square footprint, so allow at least 5.6" of vertical clearance in the drawer.

What is the trick to sealing the two-sided flip lid correctly?

Press the lid until both the shake and pour openings click shut; a partial press leaves one side open and spices spill.

When should the PET jars and black lids be replaced?

Replace any jar that turns cloudy, cracks, or warps, and any lid whose flip hinge no longer snaps securely.
