12-inch 4mm Chenille Stems

Chenille Kraft 911201 cleaning stems are 12-inch flexible wires wrapped in crush-resistant polyester. The assorted colour pack contains one thousand pieces. They suit classroom craft projects and general hobby use. The metal core holds a pose once bent.

Single-use craft limitation

Each stem is a disposable craft component that cannot be cleaned or reused once shaped. The wire core will fatigue with repeated bending and the polyester covering may shed fibres. They are not designed for structural loads or permanent installations. Buyers needing reusable framing or load-bearing parts should look elsewhere.

1000-piece bulk quantity

The pack supplies exactly one thousand stems in a single selling unit. This volume covers large group activities or extended classroom programmes without reordering. Smaller projects may find the quantity excessive and storage awkward.

Questions about this item

Which Chenille Kraft 9112-01 pack size should I choose for my classroom?

The 1000-piece pack supplies enough 12-inch stems for large group projects or repeated use throughout the school year.

What does the 4mm diameter mean when I am shaping a figure?

The 4mm wire thickness gives each stem enough rigidity to hold a pose while remaining easy to bend by hand.

How does the metal-wire core limit what I can do with these stems?

The flexible wire core lets you twist, coil and reposition the stems repeatedly without the polyester cover crushing or fraying.
