Delivers up to 140W at 20V from a USB-C PD charger to a 5.5×2.5mm laptop barrel port
This 1.8 metre cable converts a USB-C Power Delivery source into a 20 V DC barrel output for laptops that use a 5.5 mm x 2.5 mm charging port. It is aimed at users who want to replace a bulky proprietary brick with a single high-power USB-C charger.
The cable requires a USB-C charger rated at 135 W or 140 W that supports PD, QC2.0 or QC3.0 profiles. Your laptop must accept 20 V input through a 5.5 mm centre-positive barrel connector; the cable will not work with other voltages or tip sizes.
The built-in PD trigger negotiates 20 V at up to 7 A, delivering up to 140 W while also supporting 135 W, 100 W and 65 W fallback levels. It eliminates the need for the original AC adapter, leaving only the compact USB-C charger and this cable on the desk.
