Cherry KC 1000 SC wired keyboard

This full-size keyboard connects via USB and includes an integrated smart card terminal. It is built for offices and organisations that require hardware-based authentication. The 104-key layout follows the standard desktop arrangement. The black finish suits professional environments.

Integrated smart card terminal for hardware

The defining specification is the built-in smart card reader that supports chip-based credentials. This allows users to log in, sign documents or encrypt data without a separate peripheral. The USB interface provides both keyboard data and reader power over a single cable.

Suited for security-focused workstations

It fits administrators, finance teams and healthcare staff who rely on smart card policies every day. Buyers who want wireless freedom or a compact layout without a numeric keypad should look at something else. Gamers or enthusiasts seeking programmable macros or mechanical switches will not find those features here.
