Professional USB Condenser

The Cherry UM 9.0 PRO RGB is a USB condenser microphone built for PC and Mac. It captures audio at 192 kHz and 24 bit resolution for clear recordings. A solid metal three-legged stand and elastic shock mount keep the capsule isolated from desk vibrations. Four selectable polar patterns adapt the pickup to different speaking situations.

Streamers and podcasters needing flexible patterns

Creators who record podcasts, stream games, join video calls or capture interviews will find the pattern selection useful. The touch mute sensor with red LED gives instant visual confirmation that the mic is live. Buyers who require XLR connectivity or an integrated audio interface should consider a different solution.

Plug-and-play setup with minimal friction

Connect the USB cable and the microphone is recognised immediately without driver installation. The desk stand assembles in seconds and the shock mount uses rubber bands that can stretch over time. Position the capsule close to the mouth and select the appropriate polar pattern to avoid room noise.

Questions about this item

What USB port does my computer need for the UM 9.0 PRO RGB to work?

The microphone uses a standard USB connection and is plug-and-play on both PC and Mac, so any available USB port will power and recognise it without extra drivers.

Will the built-in shock mount still isolate vibrations if I keep using my current desk boom arm?

The UM 9.0 PRO RGB is designed around its own three-legged metal stand with integrated rubber-band decoupling; mounting it on a different arm would bypass that isolation system.

How can I confirm the 192 KHz / 24 bit capture is active after I plug it in?

Open your operating system's sound control panel or recording software and verify the input format shows 192 KHz at 24 bit; the top-mounted LED will also glow red when the touch mute is engaged, confirming the mic is live.
