Chestnut C2 Manual Grinder 25g Capacity

The Chestnut C2 is a hand-operated coffee grinder with a 25g bean capacity. Its metal body uses aluminium and stainless steel, weighing 1.3 lb or 430g. A built-in adjustment knob lets you set the grind size from fine to coarse by turning clockwise or counter-clockwise.

Suited to Home Brewers and Outdoor Travellers

This grinder fits users who want a portable device for pour-over, Moka pot or French press at home, in the office or while camping. It is not for buyers who need an electric motor, a larger hopper for batch brewing, or a grinder that can be rinsed directly under water.

Compact Build for Travel and Easy Cleaning

The slim 2.05-inch diameter and 5.79-inch height slip into a bag alongside the included cloth pouch and brush. No tools are required to take it apart for cleaning, freeing up counter space and removing the need for a power outlet during outdoor trips.

Questions about this item

What coffee brewing devices will the C2's adjustable grind range cover?

The internal knob adjusts from fine to coarse, letting you dial in settings for pour-over, Moka pot, French press and similar methods.

Can the 420 stainless steel burrs handle the oily beans I already buy for my French press?

Yes, the 55-58 HRC burrs cut oily beans cleanly, and the dual-bearing axle keeps particle size even at coarse French-press settings.

How can I verify the C2 is grinding consistently after I set the knob?

Check the grounds in the catch cup; they should look uniform with minimal dust or boulders, and the handle should turn smoothly without wobble.
